According to the NOAA website, it was 20 degrees when we began and 26 degrees when we were done. But Trevor, Gordon and myself braved the cold weather for a brisk 14. Various body parts (some described in the Scottish dialect) were quite frozen. We were met by a sizable Mt. Pleasant crowd at our usual meet-and-greet location on the peninsula. It was heartening to see others suffering with us.
Here's hoping things get warmer soon.

I empathize with you. I thought I was the only one suffering (in silence)through my thirds progression run. I will be back next week. Happy New Year!
Congratulations on your bravery! i chose to wait until it got 'warmer' (!?!?!) and ran at 1:00 pm for only about 10 mi. Wind chill, esp on James Island Connector, lived up to its name...wind CHILL. Stopped by Gordon's on the way home, but hope to see you all either Tue at track or next Sunday.
I am just amazed at the words I have learned on various running outings. I bet it will be in the 60's again in no time.
Great run. I talked too much just so my jaw would not freeze! 8:15 average pace and the time really dropped coming across the old bridge.
