Thursday Fartlek anybody ?

I still felt Saturday's 10km in my legs this morning, so I missed the long run. I am planning a long (ish) run Thursday evening with a variety of "fartlek" style efforts / repeats thrown in en route.

If you want to come to I'll be leaving West Ashley around 5 to 5:30 pm - or whenever it suits a critical mass ?

I am still recovering after two tough workouts this past week, including a progression run, but I hope to see everybody next Sunday.
Generally speaking, you can expect to lose some speed when training for long distances, so do not beat yourself up over this result- I wish I had run with the same speed!!! (in my dreams)

My taper begins this week. I'll do a moderate run that day, but my speed work (prior to the marathon) effectively ends after Tuesday night.
