Cami got an A+ on her make-up exam today. She got 1st Place Masters (8th top female, and 39th overall). Click here for results. This was in a field that included Joan Benoit-Samuelson! Way to go!
Our long run this morning was treated to nice weather. It was almost 60 degrees by the time we were done. It was also nice to see so many of our fellow runners out and about. Here's hoping that we have more Sundays like today in the near future.

John, and everyone- thanks again for your support. The weather was perfect, but running through the sand was not. Seeing Joan passing me: priceless. I felt honored just to run in her footsteps. I was on pace to break 1:30 until midway, and then I fell apart. Though it is my PR, my performance is disappointing.

Yet another reason to feel like I am the slowest guy in the group! Congrats Cami on an awesome race. Once you medal in a half marathon you move into the BIG LEAGUE!
Guys, there is nothing special about me or my performance. Anybody can do this; trust yourselves, train hard as always, and all your goals and dreams will come true!
