Take out the loop around Greenfield lake, and it is essentially the course for the 10K I just ran. It also appears that the logistics are being handled by the same groups (Setup events and the Wilmington YMCA). The 10K was well managed. Good support, monitoring, post race, etc. That part of town is also quite scenic.
sounds like a good race but a little too close to the iron-distance race for me. Looks like the marathon course for the beach 2 battleship is a double loop that goes over three bridges on each loop. I am thinking this is going to be a little to painful for me. By the way I am out this weekend. Catch you guys on Tuesday.
